It Seems Like The Infamous Trash Can is Right Here! - Chapter 124
…Really?
I gave him a suspicious look.
He closed his eyes tightly, as if in surrender.
“For the first time in all my lives, I think I understand Dantère.”
“…Honestly, me too.”
“Let’s go.”
“All right.”
Lionel and I rose quickly, straightening each other’s clothes, and without even linking arms, took each other’s hands and hurried out of the drawing room.
“……”
As the door swung open, we found Halid standing awkwardly in the middle of the corridor, staring at us.
“…Let’s postpone dinner. I’ll visit Luanax soon.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Not at all. It was… an opportunity to understand a little of what Lady Dilottete meant.”
Embarrassingly enough… I knew exactly what he meant.
There are moments when the heart reveals itself, when you can’t hide it no matter how you try, when even the most careful mask slips and shows everything bare.
He must’ve seen it.
Whether it was mine, or Lionel’s.
Now he would have to learn how to mimic that feeling, and it wouldn’t be easy.
But in the end, Halid would come to love Vivian too.
The Luanax carriage that had taken me to the palace earlier had followed us to Calitas without its master. Which meant we could return in it just the same.
Halid, never one to miss a cue, had the carriage waiting. Thanks to that, it took no time at all to leave the drawing room and climb aboard.
The door shut, and not long after, the carriage began to move. Lionel tossed his cravat aside and said,
“This carriage is soundproofed with magic, and built so solidly it barely rattles under most conditions.”
He’d said it before. So why say it again now?
“I’m glad to hear that.”
Even if there hadn’t been any soundproofing, I wouldn’t have been able to wait.
I climbed onto his lap without hesitation, wrapped my arms around his neck, and pressed my lips to his. The layers of dress fabric were carelessly pushed aside.
Through the damp, nearly useless undergarments, I could feel the thick, swollen length of him straining against his trousers. Even that alone was far better than before.
“I thought I was good at restraint. But maybe I was wrong.”
With my lower lip caught between his, he murmured.
“I was planning to spend my whole life locked away in a monastery, you know.”
Who would have imagined such a vast desire, bubbling inside me like an erupting volcano?
Sure, even in my past life I never touched anything that wasn’t rated 19+, but I’d never imagined actually experiencing something this intense myself.
“Maybe it’s normal that things don’t go according to plan.”
The gentle curve of his mouth stirred something in me, strangely thrilling, all over again. It was new.
I slipped out my tongue and traced along the line of his lips. It had taken a great deal of courage, but it was worth it.
His lips, which surely had no flavor at all, tasted sweeter than chocolate, more fragrant than the finest perfume.
That ridiculous kind of line from a novel… it was true.
To like someone meant turning the obvious, the mundane, into something utterly unreal.
While I licked his lips, Lionel didn’t move a muscle. He just stared at me, his red eyes full of nothing but me.
He must’ve been aching to move, to stir, yet like a tamed beast under its master’s touch, he endured, as if afraid that even the smallest motion might make me stop.
Apart from his rising breath, his chest swelling and sinking, and the way his arousal pressed and twitched between us, the world was silent.
The only noise that remained was the deafening thud of our hearts.
