“The priestess was so concerned about you that I asked the physician to prepare a restorative tonic. It should arrive by tomorrow.”
“I-Is that so? Thank you for being so considerate, Brother.”
“If you’re grateful, you should thank the priestess.”

Seriously, why is he doing this…?

“Thank you, Sasha.”
“It’s nothing.”

I cautiously glanced at Lionel before speaking.

“You must be very tired today. Please, let me help. If I don’t at least do something like this, it feels like I’m indulging too much, and it makes me uncomfortable.”

As I spoke with Lionel, Vivian’s complexion grew paler, and she looked as if she might collapse at any moment.
It was likely partly due to stress.

“…Very well. Do as you wish.”

As soon as Lionel let go of my arm, I clasped both of Vivian’s hands in mine.

‘The heroine needs to stay healthy, no matter what.’
After all, she has to handle not just one, not two, but three male leads.

Manifestation of divinity: Type – Healing.

As one of the readers who once declared the metaphorical trash can “cozy,” helping Vivian while I was here didn’t seem like a bad idea.

‘Hang in there, Vivian! And all reverse-harem heroines, keep fighting!’

Intensity of manifestation: Basic. Target: Vivian Luanax.

I channeled divine power through my hands, and Vivian’s complexion visibly improved. Her previously pale cheeks now carried a healthy blush, making her look much better.

“Thank you, Sasha.”
“You’re welcome. Even if you take the tonic, please don’t hesitate to let me know if you feel unwell.”

Vivian glanced cautiously at Lionel, gave me a small smile, and replied.
“Yes, I will.”

Then she stepped back and addressed Lionel.

“I’ll head in now. Sorry for interrupting your time together, Brother.”

“…….”

As Lionel’s brow furrowed, Vivian turned away, her face lighting up with a mischievous smile, as if she found it all very amusing.

Only Ilina, her maid, made sure to glare at me discreetly before leaving, avoiding Lionel’s gaze.

‘Hmm… so that’s it.’

I had thought it might just be my imagination or a general dislike of outsiders, but now I was fairly certain of the reason Ilina disliked me.

It was…!

Jealousy. She’s jealous!

Lionel treated me with exceptional favoritism, to the extent that even his personal attendants were concerned.
Even Dantère had misunderstood the nature of my relationship with Lionel.

“…Priestess?”

Lionel’s voice brought me back to reality. Looking at him, I noticed his arm already extended toward me, as if impatient.

What’s with his obsession with linking arms?
Was he Cinderella in a past life, stuck outside the ballroom because he had no partner to hold onto?

I relented and offered my hand, letting him link arms with me. Only then did his cold expression soften.

‘How can this not be misunderstood?’

“Your Grace…”

I began after a bit of walking, unable to suppress my curiosity.

“Did you come to fetch me last night?”
“…Yes, I did.”

“Did you personally carry me to bed?”

He didn’t answer, but I didn’t need him to.
Who else but Lionel would have entered the guest quarters and moved me to my bed without permission?

“Why are you so kind to me? Is this all part of assessing my usefulness?”

Lionel abruptly stopped and turned fully to face me.
With the sun behind him, his face was shadowed, but his expression wasn’t entirely unreadable.

“If I said yes, would you reject me?”

I had expected him to be troubled by my direct question, but instead, he faintly smiled.

“I dislike wasting time. I find it unbearably tedious.”
“I feel the same. If you want something from me, please just tell me directly.”
“Very well.”

I was relieved that, at least in this aspect, we shared a similar mindset.
It would have been exhausting if I had to spend time and energy deciphering his intentions, given how much else I had to worry about.

“Then let me be straightforward.”
