It Seems Like The Infamous Trash Can is Right Here! - Chapter 77
‘My brother at a masquerade ball?’
Vivian’s eyes sparkled as she recognized the woman stepping down from the carriage, escorted by Lionel.
Though masked and appearing unlike her usual self, Vivian knew immediately. There had only ever been, and would only ever be one person to whom Lionel showed such an attitude.
‘He brought Sasha.’
Seeing Lionel’s companion made things even stranger.
‘Did Lionel ask her to come with him?’
From Vivian’s observation, the poor priestess disliked attracting attention to herself more than anything.
She seemed entirely preoccupied with how to remain unnoticed and quietly at peace.
Yet it was Lionel who had brought Sasha here, having tracked her down from the convent in the Kingdom of Cloren and bringing her to the capital.
Under the feeble pretense of asking her to care for a sister she hardly even knew.
‘What’s this about?’
He’d fussed over her as if she were the most fragile thing in the world, yet he brought her here?
And Sasha had even dressed up so beautifully, that as soon as she arrived, she immediately began drawing countless eyes?
Even if she wanted to, he should’ve stopped her, no matter what. By any means possible.
If he still brought her despite all this, there must be some truly important reason.
‘Now I’m curious.’
Vivian wanted to approach them, feigning familiarity by linking arms, and see Sasha’s flustered face.
Unfortunately, Vivian wasn’t currently in a situation where she could easily slip away.
“What. Is your lover over there?”
Noticing Vivian repeatedly glancing towards the entrance, Halid roughly turned her around.
“Your fiancé is me, Vivian.”
He pushed her upper body so far forward that she nearly bent over the terrace railing, then lifted her dress.
Cold air brushed against her exposed backside, soon grasped roughly as Halid pressed himself against her back.
“No matter what you do, that fact won’t change.”
A man who spent over half the year covered in the blood of monsters in frozen lands was too strong for Vivian’s delicate body to resist. Nor did it seem likely Dantère would find her in time.
“If your intention is to humiliate me, just finish quickly.”
Lionel and Sasha had already vanished, probably having entered the ballroom.
“I don’t want to keep my partner waiting too long.”
Deliberately provoking Halid with a blurted out comment, Vivian subtly parted her legs, allowing his hand easier access.
“…I’ll decide whether this finishes quickly or not.”
His fingers pushed aside her undergarment, swiftly plunging inside her. Vivian shuddered deeply.
Had the feverish heat of the couples grinding together in the ballroom somehow reached her as well? Her insides were already sufficiently wet for him to enter smoothly.
“Ah…!”
A sharp thrill shot through her as his fingers roughly stirred inside. She felt proof of her arousal trickle down onto his fingers.
‘Feels good….’
Vivian decided to change her attitude.
Since things had turned out this way, she’d just enjoy herself.
Though Halid was an irritatingly old-fashioned northern man who said unpleasant things whenever he opened his mouth, his thick, coarse fingers pleased her greatly. Besides, she’d always wanted to try doing something indecent with his overly rigid self outdoors.

“Should we turn back now?”
Lionel asked me in a quietly subdued voice.
It was understandable if he felt uneasy. Honestly, I felt the same.
Even though I was clearly with a partner, blatant stares had clung to us from the moment we entered. They stared so openly that turning my head in any direction immediately caused me to lock eyes with someone.
