His lips were on hers, a silent approach that swallowed her whole. Their noses brushed, breaths mingling. Vanessa wrapped her arms around River Ross’s bare neck, savoring the sweet wave of sensation he brought. He lifted her effortlessly, settling her legs around his waist. With all support lost, she clung to him desperately, their lips deepening the kiss.
Her dangling slipper fell to the floor with a soft thud. Their clothes, already scant, tangled further; chest and stomach pressed intimately together. Their sweat-slicked bodies clung like a thousand tiny, insistent suckers. Vanessa gasped, a delicate tremor in her moan, and he drank it in.
Wet, tangled, and clinging, they tumbled onto the bed. Her heart hammered against her ribs, a frantic bird trapped by the heat. She twisted, as if to escape, but River Ross gently caught her waist, his large hand cupping her swollen br3ast from behind.
