ā€˜But… nothing like this has ever been recorded in a distortion dungeon before though…?’

Of course, since it was such a dangerous place, people likely hadn’t explored its depths thoroughly.

It wasn’t strange that it hadn’t been witnessed before, but it was still remarkable that such a large cluster of plants existed here.

ā€œThey’re all edible.ā€

ā€œHow do you know that?ā€

ā€œI’ve eaten these several times in places that aren’t recorded either.ā€

As he spoke, Michael picked the ripest fruit, peeled it with his hands, and handed it to Irene. The flesh was blood-red, filled with black seed-like dots.

Seeing the unfamiliar color and appearance, Irene doubted whether it was actually edible.

Seeing her hesitation, Michael smiled knowingly, as if he’d expected her reaction.

His smile made Irene’s face grow warm for no reason. She couldn’t tell when Michael had started smiling so easily. Just a few weeks ago, he’d seemed no different from how he was in her past life…

Now, Michael was so different that she even questioned whether he was the same Michael she knew.

He picked another fruit, peeled it the same way, and took a big bite.

With a crisp crunch, the scent of sweet, tangy fruit filled the air.

Seeing Michael eat so heartily gave Irene the courage to bite into the fruit as well.

It was a strange taste.

A thick sweetness that almost made her jaw tingle. It was an unusual flavor, unlike anything she’d tasted before.

In the end, she ate everything Michael handed her, one by one, until her stomach was full.

The dungeon’s food no longer felt unfamiliar.

And from a great distance, a tentacle peeked out, shaking as if delighted to watch the two of them.

Almost as if it hoped its master would feel more satisfied with this place.

Several days passed after that.

During that time, Irene and Michael’s days passed in a simple rhythm.

After waking, they would wash by the lake and pick fruits to eat.

Then, they would share light conversation. Before they knew it, their lips would meet.

Now, wearing clothes felt like a nuisance.

They wondered if it would be better to just stay unclothed, since they would only have to remove them again anyway.

With no monsters approaching and isolated from the world, they were the only people in this place.

That fact made Irene bolder by the day.

ā€œAhnn, hnngh, a-aaahh…!ā€

At first, she had bitten her lips desperately to stifle her moans.

But now, with every movement, Irene let out everything she felt without hesitation.

Michael was the same.

ā€œThis time, could you turn over and lift your hips for me?ā€

The man who had always spoken so politely now began making shameless requests.

ā€œThere’s no need to be so eager. I’ve never failed to satisfy you, have I?ā€

ā€œNo, that’s not it! S-Slowly! Ah, there! Stop!ā€

ā€œEven as you say stop, with how tightly you’re clenching… I truly don’t know what to do.ā€

ā€œLies! If you… keep going! Into m… ah! Ah!ā€

ā€œEven after doing this all day, you still struggle… I wonder just how much longer you need to be filled to accept me comfortably.ā€

Now, his calm delivery of obscene remarks no longer surprised her.

Like the first humans described in ancient scriptures, the two of them repeated a simple life of eating, sleeping, and exploring each other.

Except for the fact that they were in a dungeon, this place felt like a world made just for them.

Holding her from behind as he moved within her, Irene thought to herself.

Would it be okay to stay here forever?

Just like this… making this place her home like the monsters… becoming a monster herself…

At that thought, Irene suddenly snapped back to her senses.

What on earth am I thinking?
