Chapter 375
At first, it felt almost as if a snake were coiling up his arm.
But the sensation was far too hot for that.
Michael stared in disbelief at the hand she was holding.
A faint red glow hovered between their hands, then vanished into his body.
This sight wasnāt entirely unfamiliar.
Whenever he entered a dungeon and fought monsters, there were times he ended up covered in their blood.
When that happened, the miasma within their blood would naturally seep into the Knightsā bodies.
Michael, too, had experienced that several times.
But every time, all he felt was a deep, unpleasant discomfort.
However, the miasma Irene was pushing into him now was completely different from anything heād ever felt before. How could he even describe this?
In an instant, it made his breath tremble and his mind grow hazy.
Even knowing this might be poison to him, he had no idea what to do.
It was a blaze, the kind that swiftly wrapped around and burned away even oneās mind.
The miasma that engulfed him now felt just like such a fire.
Suddenly, his whole body tensed, every muscle going rigid.
Did she sense this? As if not to startle him, Irene gently stroked the back of his hand with her finger.
It was truly nothing. Just a small gesture, maybe a little ticklish, but nothing he couldnāt endure.
It should have been nothing at allā¦
āHk!ā
He gasped, his whole body shuddering violently.
All she had done was brush the back of his hand. So why was it that an entirely unrelated part of his body below was trembling uncontrollably?
Where she was caressing and rubbing wasnāt his hand, but seemed to be the secret place below his waist.
āAhā¦ā
His breath, ragged and trembling, grew hot.
All that happened was a touch of miasma through their joined hands, yet he was becoming increasingly lightheaded.
Even though he was sitting in a chair, it felt like being submerged deep underwater, struggling to breathe.
The miasma that spread up his arm struck at every nerve in the corners of his body, stealing his awareness away.
At this rate, he would be completely consumed by this power.
Even knowing that, Michael only let out rough breaths, unable to do anything else.
He could let go of her hand. He could just stand up and walk away.
But though he was flustered and struggling, he didnāt feel the slightest urge to stop her.
Unknowingly, Michael shrank in on himself.
The moment Irene squeezed his hand, it felt as if something below had also been tightly grasped.
Her slender, pale fingers cautiously slipped between his rough fingers and rubbed gently.
At the feeling of that delicate skin sliding between his, he felt a thirst.
He knew this sensation.
Deeper, thicker, more intimate. And moreā¦
His body responded more honestly and quickly than his mind.
Blood rushed downwards, his body turning rigid as it began to rise of its own accord.
At his bodyās reaction, Michael truly felt like he might die. Even though he stamped his foot desperately while seated, there was no way that alone would dispel this dizzying sensation.
Even so, he did not let go of the hand he was holding.
āStopā¦ā
Instead, he could only plead weakly with the person who was making him burn up inside.
As if she were the one who could control all these feelings.
āJust endure a little longer.ā
Irene spoke firmly to the struggling Michael.
The truth was, Irene herself was somewhat flustered.
This memory loss was due to the power of the Dragon of Oblivion.
So she thought if she pushed out or erased some of the miasma left by the dragon, perhaps his memory would return.
Besides, using miasma like this was usually something Michael himself did often.
Whenever they began to sleep together, he liked to drive her to climax again and again.
If she accepted all the pleasure he gave her, no matter how much she tried to endure, her body and mind would quickly become exhausted.
At times like that, he would hold her hand and quietly push miasma into her in just this way.
When he did, energy would return to her limp body, her breath would slow, and she would seek even greater pleasure than before.
Of course, that was because Michael was deliberately manipulating his miasma.
āI only pushed in a little bitā¦?ā
But now, Michaelās eyes were turning a little red, even wet.
And his expression was one of real confusion, as if he truly couldnāt understand why this was happening.
Gulp.
Watching Michael like that, Irene unconsciously swallowed dryly.
