“Look at this! Finally some interesting news!”

Reyna placed a paper from the document archive on the table.

“What is it?”

Cynthia, who had been narrowing down the list of people wanting to join their group, leaned over to look at the paper.

By now, the two had naturally started addressing each other as sisters.

Both of them had changed quite a bit as well.

Just a few weeks ago, Reyna had been flustered with excitement, thrilled to be in a new place with someone she liked.

But now, she had become noticeably more composed, clearly growing accustomed to the fortress.

Cynthia, on the other hand, had changed more in appearance than in attitude.

She had always dressed so plainly that it bordered on shabby, but now she looked unmistakably like a wealthy purifier.

After selling the Invisibility Ring, her pockets were much fuller.

Cynthia had immediately changed her room and bought new, clean clothes.

Her knight, Rix, had also benefited, replacing all of his old weapons and armor with lighter, sturdier gear.

As a result, his skills had improved, and his relationship with Cynthia had grown closer as well.

“I might end up pairing with Rix again next year.”

Cynthia had blushed slightly as she said this before, unable to fully hide the red marks on her neck.

There was no longer any sign of darkness in Cynthia’s demeanor, something Irene considered a good change.

As she thought this, Reyna waved the paper in front of her face, raising her voice.

“A spatial distortion has been detected! I heard that you can see a different landscape from across the void—how strange is that!”

At her words, Irene groaned, and Cynthia’s expression darkened as well.

“What’s wrong…?”

Still unfamiliar with the intricacies of dungeons, Reyna looked at them in confusion.

“Dungeons usually appear suddenly, but if a spatial distortion like this occurs first, it means a massive dungeon is about to appear.”

“A massive dungeon? Does that mean it’s a high-tier one?”

“Not necessarily. All we know for sure is that it’s going to be huge. But why…”

“Why what?”

“Never mind, just keep reading.”

At Irene’s request, Reyna continued reading from the paper.

The spatial distortion had been observed in the middle of the mountain range, about a four-hour journey from the fortress, and through it, the landscape of another region could be seen.

“So far, three locations have been identified, and they are monitoring for more. They’re also accepting applications for pairs to enter the distortion dungeon… What’s a distortion dungeon?”

“It’s exactly what it sounds like—a dungeon that appears after a spatial distortion occurs. Could you read me the coordinates on the paper?”

Irene brought out a map and marked the coordinates as Reyna called them out.

The three points formed a large triangle, encompassing three mountain peaks.

Seeing it, Irene let out a deep sigh.

‘The range is just as I remember it… but why has the timing changed?’

According to her memories, this distortion dungeons weren’t supposed to appear for another month.

It should have been the sixth recorded spatial distortion in the history of the fortress, creating the largest dungeon ever observed there.

“Is there something special about those three points?”

“Those three locations will be the entrances to the dungeon. There may be more.”

In fact, there should be one more entrance, but Irene couldn’t say that just yet.

“Entrances to the dungeon? So, will there be three dungeons appearing at once?”

“No, those three points will be entrances to the same dungeon.”

“Whaaat?”

Reyna shouted in surprise.

Even though this was her first year at the fortress, she had been busy participating in several dungeon raids over the past few weeks.

As a result, she had learned roughly how large dungeons were, depending on their rank.

Fighting monsters and completing raids, low-tier dungeons usually took around half an hour to traverse, intermediate-tier dungeons about two hours, and high-tier dungeons typically over four hours.

But a dungeon that spanned multiple mountain peaks?

The sheer size of it left her speechless.

“Scholars say that dungeons are from another world and, for unknown reasons, they shift into our world. Before a dungeon appears, the two worlds meet briefly, and that’s what we see as a spatial distortion.”

As Irene explained, Reyna quickly grabbed a pen and paper, her eyes gleaming with interest.
