“Oh? Grandma probably has something like this too.”

The jewelry made by mosaicking small floral-patterned glass pieces looked familiar. She remembered that her grandmother used to favor bracelets and earrings in this style, maybe because it had been trendy in Korea when she was young.

That was before her mother got sick and her grandmother became the head of the household responsible for the three of them.

I don’t think she had a watch like this, though.

Hyeji picked up a watch whose mother-of-pearl face was bordered with a floral mosaic, with a band made of multicolored glass beads like a bracelet. It was perfectly suited to her grandmother’s taste, since she liked floral patterns.

While she added a few bracelets as well for Madam Yang Jeongmi, who loved layering bold bracelets in abundance, Kanghyeon came back having chosen a gold-rimmed glass coffee cup and teapot set.

“Grandma likes brewing coffee, right?”

Tempted by that, she went ahead and bought the three million won set without hesitation.

And a glass cat too. This one was cute enough that even Hyeji couldn’t resist.

I’ve already gone on a spending spree on the very first day of the trip. I must’ve briefly lost my mind.

The moment she stepped out of the shop and back into reality, Hyeji hit a moment of clarity. But there was no seat for a monk on a two-person gondola.

They rode the gondola through the canals, admiring the city on water, and when evening came, they headed to their next destination.

A cruise ship.

If the first thing Hyeji wanted to do once she made a lot of money was to own a Han River view apartment, then maybe around forty-sixth on the list was taking a Mediterranean cruise. Not something she had to do right away, but something she absolutely wanted to do before she died.

Meanwhile, Kanghyeon, who had experienced not only Mediterranean cruises but also Caribbean and Disney cruises from a young age, knew the downsides as well as the perks. At first, he suggested chartering a luxury yacht or taking a high-end sailing cruise with fewer than a hundred passengers instead of a massive cruise ship, but Hyeji was adamant.

“I’m curious about things like gala dinners where you wear dresses, cocktail parties, and shows at the onboard theater.”

Coming from someone who preferred watching dramas alone in a hotel room while eating cup ramyeon over crowded parties, what was she even saying.

It turned out that the reason she’d fallen for Mediterranean cruises in the first place was because she’d watched a large cruise travel vlog on YouTube. Hearing that, Kanghyeon finally understood what she wanted.

Even so, he didn’t want his woman who deserved to suffer less to be jostling with thousands of people on her honeymoon, competing and stressing over tour and restaurant reservations. So as a compromise, he proposed this luxury cruise.

“Other famous cruises can take up to seven thousand passengers, but here every cabin is a suite, so they only take up to seven hundred.”

Hearing that the passenger count differed by a factor of ten, Hyeji had expected the ship to be much smaller than what she’d seen on YouTube. But when they took the cruise company’s limousine to the port…

“A building that should be standing on Teheran Boulevard in Gangnam is lying down in the Mediterranean.”

The cruise ship they would board was comparable in size to other large cruise ships docked at the same port.

“The ship itself is large, but the passenger count is small, so you can enjoy everything you want without being stressed by other passengers.”

Kanghyeon had brought the perfect compromise. Finding things like this was usually Hyeji’s job. Now that they were married, it felt like the roles of director and secretary had somehow been reversed.

[ Welcome. I will be responsible for your perfect honeymoon for the next seven days. ]

They followed their dedicated butler, who had been waiting for them, into the ship. The interior was refined yet lavish enough to make her eyes wander everywhere on their own.

As they toured the ship’s shared facilities under the butler’s guidance, Hyeji blurted out without thinking when they reached the classically styled central staircase.

“Wow, it’s just like the Titanic.”

“Why would you say something so ominous.”

After that, they somehow ended up debating how two people could fit on a single door panel, and before they knew it, they had arrived at their reserved room.

Deck 14. The very top floor, home to the largest Regent Suite on the cruise.

The massive double doors of the suite, like the gates of a mansion, swung open wide. Even Hyeji, who usually stared at suite rooms with dead fish eyes, widened her eyes.

There’s no end to it from one side to the other.

You could probably fit two of the suite rooms she’d stayed in on business trips inside this one.

If this were a business trip, they wouldn’t even make it to the bed and would’ve ended up guiding on the living room floor.

The interior, covered in marble above, below, and to the sides, made every piece of furniture and decoration look expensive. It was the first time she’d seen a living room with a grand piano, but honestly, that wasn’t what interested Hyeji.

What matters is the bed and the bathroom.

The bed was soft like any other luxury hotel bed, with plenty of pillows, so it wasn’t particularly impressive. She just passed by it.

But the bathroom was on par with the communal spa of a five-star hotel. A sauna, a steam sauna room, even a treatment room with massage beds, plus a separate relaxation area with floor-to-ceiling glass windows offering an unobstructed view of the sea.

That this was meant for just the two of them alone. She’s never seen a place like this.
