Outside was even more impressive.
“Why do they even call this a balcony?”
It was so wide that calling it a private deck for the suite would have been more accurate. There was no private pool, but the jacuzzi by the railing looked spacious enough for the two of them.

Hyeji didn’t need to know. No, it was better that she didn’t. She liked money, but she liked saving it, not spending it.
“To me it’s pocket change, so I don’t remember. But since it’s our honeymoon, I wanted at least something that costs about as much as your iced Americano, and there wasn’t anywhere more expensive than this.”
He shamelessly played it off with a straight face. Hyeji shot him a sideways look, but still smiled. She’d noticed his intentions and let it slide anyway. The suite was just that perfect.
“Where should we eat dinner?”
“They all have dress codes, right?”
Unpacking, changing clothes, putting on makeup. Just imagining it made Hyeji look like she was already losing her appetite.
“Then should we just order room service tonight?”
“Deal.”
A little later, gnocchi drowned in mushroom cream sauce, browned in garlic butter and generously topped with truffle slices, went into Hyeji’s mouth.
It fell apart softly at the touch of a fork and melted on her tongue. She couldn’t tell whether that sensation or sitting at a table at the edge of the deck, looking out over the sea dyed gold by the sunset, was more moving.
Hyeji no longer regretted skipping a restaurant meal even once.

Kanghyeon asked boldly, already naked. He’d always walked around naked in front of her before, calling it employee welfare, so he had no reservations. But Hyeji, who had only ever exposed what was necessary for work, still felt awkward showing even her upper body.

It surprised her that he understood the exact vibe.
“Right. What I imagined was my boyfriend suddenly showing up late at night on a motorcycle or in his parents’ car and asking me to go see the sea.”
“A motorcycle? You’re talking dangerously.”
“You don’t get romance, do you.”
“I can take my parents’ car.”
